Czech Concrete Society (ČBS) is a civil association of legal companies and individual people involved in the research, design, implementation, maintenance and reconstruction of concrete, masonry and hybrid designs and manufacture of materials and products for these structures.
ČBS promotes concrete, masonry and hybrid design and construction. It supports raising the technical level and quality of concrete, masonry and hybrid structures. It also organizes specialized seminars and courses which forms an integral part of its activities.
ČBS is the professional society of Czech Association of Construction Engineers (ČSSI) according to the Article 3 of the Standards of ČSSI.
ČBS represents its members in contact with other professional associations not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. ČBS – as the Czech national group – is the statutory member of The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib) and the member of European Concrete Societies Network (ECSN).
